LOW NET - July 25, 2018

Hello Ladies!

Well we had another sweltering week for our ladies league!  We want to tip our hats to all 31 of you who can out in spite of it!  Congrats to the winners!

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

ANNOUNCEMENT

The 2018 Club Championship is just around the corner.  For the 18 hole group, you will play your first round on August 1st.  August 8th will consist of the 2nd round for the 18 hole group and the Championship for the 9 hole group.  Scorecards will be provided for you both days.

Everyone who needs rounds to be eligible to be champion have been contacted.  REMEMBER:  Even if you don't have the required rounds to be Champion YOU CAN STILL PLAY AND COMPETE FOR PRIZES.  

The 18 hole group can play with any league members they choose on August 1st.  The second week they will be paired according to how they scored the first week.

The 9 hole group can request pairings.  We will do everything we can to honor those requests.  If there is a problem you will be contacted.

IMPORTANT:  If you signed up in the 18 hole group, you MUST play both weeks to qualify for prizes!  If you're not sure, contact Dodie for clarification.  

There is a sign-up sheet on our table.   Please sign up by July 30th.  Dinner will follow competition on the 8th and we need a count of participants.

LOW PUTTS - July 18, 2018

Greetings Ladies!

Well Mother Nature gave us another scorcher this week for our Low Putts POD.  We only had 24 ladies who were willing to brave the heat to test your putting skills.  Hats off to you brave Ladies!

BEAT THE PRO 41/78 - July 11, 2018

Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!

This week the POD was Beat the Pro.  We had 32 ladies brave the sweltering temps to attempt this feat.  We should thank Mike for his generosity by shooting a 41/78. Almost all of us were able to best or tie him this year - which is a first!  So, we all just got our $4 in prize money!  Here's what it looks like!

PAR BABY LOW NET - June 27, 2017

Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!

Thank you all for being so understanding about waiting for me to vacation before posting the winners for PAR BABY on June 27.  There was a real light turnout for the day - only 21 ladies total.  And just 6 of them were 18 holers.  After discussing it with the Board, we decided just to make the POD a 9 hole event for that week. 

It appeared that quite a few of you were not sure how to calculate the PAR BABY score, so if you have any questions regarding the winners, please let me know.

VACATION

Sun Hills Ladies!

I will be leaving for an 11 day vacation this coming Thursday morning.  I am hoping to get Wednesday's POD winners posted before I go.  However, we all know about those best laid plans.  No matter what, I will get your Wednesday scores posted for the June 30 handicap update.  

We don't have league play on the 4th of July and I will be back for the 11th.  If I don't get the 28th winners calculated, please know that will be the first thing on my list when I return.

LOW NET - June 20, 2018

Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!

We had a great day and great turnout -40- for the Low Net POD.  We had a new member join us this week.  We would like to welcome Maddy Miya to Sun Hills Ladies! 

There were some darn good golfing!  Congrats to the winners!
