LOW GROSS - May 24, 2017

Hello Sun Hills Ladies!

Mother Nature was kind to us this week!  The weather was just great for a nice round of golf.  We had 32 ladies participate this week - 17 9/holers and 15 18/holers.  We would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting your league.

May 17 League Play

        Ladies,   Since the weather forecast for tomorrow has not changed, we are cancelling league play.   Although there will be no Play of the Day, you can still play golf if there is a break in the storm, or if it gets here late.

Please give Sun Hills a call to schedule your tee times for next week.  I hear the weather will be lovely!

GROSS SCORE WITH A TWIST - May 10, 2017

Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!

I hope you noticed the name of Wednesday's POD has been changed from "Crystal Ball" to "Gross Score".  The reason for this is 2-fold.  One is that the "Guess" sheet was messed up and everyone wasn't listed.  Second, the instructions for 9/18 hole guessing weren't clear.  Those 2 things would have resulted in 5 DQs which was not acceptable.  By using your Gross Score and giving it the "Twist" made the play fair for all.  The "TWIST" was pars on holes 5 and/or 14.  I apologize for the mess, and hope to think these things through better in the future.

We had 37 ladies play on Wednesday.  Thanks for coming out and enjoying the day!  Congrats to the winners!

SUN HILLS 2 WOMEN BEST BALL TOURNEY

Sun Hills Ladies!  The 4th Annual Sun Hills Ladies 2 Women Best Ball tournament is just around the corner.  This year it will be held on Thursday, June 1st.

We would like to invite you all to come out and support this tourney if you can.  We have a great sponsor with Coates Electrical and support a wonderful charity...Coats for Kids!  There are great tee prizes, lunch and an auction that the proceeds go to Coates for Kids!  We have participant from all over the state who play in the tourney and would love to see Sun Hills have great participation!

CHICAGO PUTTS - May 3, 2017

Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!

What a great week we had for the first POD of May!  Our participation is increasing...36 ladies!  Keep encouraging your friends to come out and enjoy this great time of year!  We were able to get 3 flights in each group this week!  There were a few less in the 9 hole group so we could only pay 2 places in the B and C flights.  But hey!  it's getting better!

From looking at your scorecards, there was some awesome putting going on!  Congrats to the winners!

This coming Wednesday is the ever popular Crystal Ball with a Twist!  So get your psychic on and come on out!
