Greetings Sun Hills Ladies!
The 2017 season of Sun Hills Ladies Golf Association in officially in the books! It was the first year of having the 18 hole component to our league. The participation in both components was pretty equal, which is what we were hoping for. Aside from the expected growing pains, we feel it was a success.
We had a wonderful Closing Social this past Wednesday. Ralph prepared a delicious spaghetti dinner. We had some great raffle prizes and a putter and 5 wood were given away in the door prize drawing.
During the business meeting there was lively discussion regarding Club Champion eligibility. In the end, the majority voted to keep the 50% participation to be Champion in tack. However, ALL members can play in the tourney and win prizes.
Zelva Goodrich, our 2 time President, made the decision to not run again for office. It was also determined that, with the addition of new technology, the position of Handicap Chair would be absorbed by the Tournament Chair position.
As a result of these changes the new Board for Sun Hills Ladies Golf Association is:
President: Karen Mitchell
Secretary Treasurer: Judi Tutorow
Tournament Chair: Dodie Roberts
It was suggested that our Spring Opening Social be held in conjunction with an Ice Breaker scramble. The majority of our members were enthusiastic about this idea. So keep an eye on the BLOG for more details. It will be fun to meet all the ladies in our league!

BLIND DRAW - September 27
Hello Sun hills Ladies!
We had enough ladies turn out for our final POD to draw 8 threesomes using 3 different flights. We used the scores shot on the front 9. Thanks to the 24 ladies that came out for our last hurrah!!
Here are how the threesomes came out. If you haven't met the members of your group, I hope you will take the time to meet them at the Closing Social.
Again tanks for a successful 2017 season. Well will begin again in April 2018!
