I have some important information about the Club Championship Tournament for our league. It was originally going to be on Wednesday, September 10th. However, there have been some things come up that make it necessary to change the date. And when talking with Mike about possible dates, I found out that the greens at the course are being aerated and sanded, starting August 27th. For the last several years I have received alot of complaints about sand and holes on the green for our club champ tournament ... so having to move the tournament might be a blessing in disguise.
So we will be moving our Club Champ Tournament to Wednesday, August 20th. It will be before any of the aerating and sanding, so I think we will all enjoy that. It will be either an 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The club championship tournament is an 18 hole tournament. New this year ... if you have a USGA handicap of 22 or less, you will be flighted within the flight and will be paired with others in the same flight. Everyone else can choose their foursomes.
More information will come out when it gets closer, but I wanted to make sure to get the info to you so you could mark your calendars and plan for this Tournament.
